I haven't been able to get it to run yet. I'm not sure if that is a Vista 64 thing or a "I don't read or speak Japanese" thing.

There's a couple of wrapper tools you need to install to ensure the game doesn't barf on a non-Japanese install. Details are in that SRK thread.

I believe there are also unofficial English patches being put out by folks that don't require the Japanese language stuff installed on a machine to make it work. Again, details in the SRK thread.

I'm bumping this thread because I finally got this game running a few weeks ago and I am still enjoying it. The graphics are so fantastic, especially the large scale special move animations. I love the gameplay. The addition of your little girl characters in the background is a unique fighting game concept. This game really has it all.

I found a version that has the game already patched for US users. You just need to download it, delete the "z" from "exez" in the file extension, unpack it, and you're good to go:
