mustve been the pc input on the tv, got the vga--->hdmi converter , and is perfect through the tvs hdmi port

gah, no it doesnt work, you are right, through the hdmi port the picture is fine but keeps disappearing
the only way to connect to my sony bravia through the vga port is to run an ntsc console thru an xrgb.....................raaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah

still havnt sorted this, had no luck finding a modded NTSC console. my next plan is to get a PAL psone (new style) as ive heard they output true NTSC@60Hz (theyre only like £5-£10), and get a Breaker Pro disc to handle the mod.
