modified saturn doesnt read disks

ok, i've had my saturn for about 10 years now,... when i purchased it , at the time, it was modded for me by the shop... to play japanese games.... took it home, worked beautifully, for a number of years... fast forward 6 years later, i had it stored in a safe deposit box, with my two best games.. marvel vs. streetfighter(import) and RADIANT SILVER GUN.... with my ram cart... i had to replace to plug and a/v connector due to the original being lost... i go turn it on, and now it wont read the games... sometimes to disk wont spin, and when it does, it keeps going to the menu screen like its ready to play an audio cd...my game just does not load... HELP, PLEASE...... is it because the eye stopped working ? should i take it apart and use a dusting spray to clean out the circuit board? i really dont feel like buying another saturn, and as you can see, i'd really like to enjoy playing the two games that keeps me from ever selling my saturn...

clean the lens with isopropyl alcohol

Make sure you use at least 90% isopropyl alcohol for best results. 95% or better if you can get it.
