No kidding. EA used random screws on the carts here. Normal phillips one time, tee start the next, then those tri-wing spanner ones that I didn't both making a tool to open. I've nearly busted a few of those stupid yellow tabs too.emwearz wrote:Yea but you wouldnt want to use any of those EA ones, I always hated there carts.
Is there any empty red SNES carts for sale? I would like to have one for a custom copy of Super Metroid.Troglodyte wrote:2. Can bare Sega Genesis / Mega Drive cartridge casings be found for purchase anywhere?
Thanks in advance
As I know of; not as of yet. You can either wait for http://www.RetroUSB.com to release them (which they will be releasing red ones at some point; they will look similar to the SNES PowerPak, I assume), or use a commonly available game that comes in red casing; such as Doom or Maximum Carnage. I suppose you could even spray paint your own with Krylon. Is there any empty red SNES carts for sale? I would like to have one for a custom copy of Super Metroid.
I guess I could buy/trade for a copy of one of those or even a broken copy so I could use the caseTroglodyte wrote:As I know of; not as of yet.
