I want to mod my Memory Card to play Front Mission 5
I want to mod my Memory Card to play Front Mission 5
I am not an expert in this and I want to learn, but I have tried many and failed. I can't find a decent noob tutorial, so any suggestions here?

Your post is sorely lacking in details. What console is this for? What are you trying to do? What guides have you read thus far? Etc.

Sorry, Front Mission 5 was actually released for the ps2 and it only came out in Japan. I heard that you can mod your memory card to play backup games. the english patch for the game is already out and I want to play it badly.

An easier solution might be to get a flip top and a swap disk. That's what I went with.

I believe Free McBoot is the exploit that you're thinking of. According to this compatibility list, Front Mission V is compatible with ESR.
You can find guides/tutorials for Free McBoot at:
http://bootleg.sksapps.com/tutorials/fmcb/
It has to be installed to a memory card. The noobie guide lists the compatible ways. Another option is to have someone with Free McBoot do the installation for you. You can find volunteer installers at psx-scene.com. I have done some installations for folks here and at atariage.com. If you're interested, send me a PM.
