Hey guys,
I was curious how online play was these days. A few year ago MAME and Gens had a thing called Kaillera client that worked. Not really well or ok, but it would work. And I recall the SNES having something like that. It was always difficult to get going with mixed results, but it was fun to play games on the internet.
I'm just curious if it was possible to play a game, save it, and everyone show back up where they saved.
I ask now, because I want to do a proper run through of a three player action RPG on super nintendo. I wouldn't mind playing some of the late night beat em ups from a few years ago either. If anyones up for that or if its even possible, I'd love to hear back.
online play question
Re: online play question
By save it you mean exchange the the progress in the RPG so that both players can sync?
I did not know there was to many RPG's that let another player join in but i'd imagen all you'd have to do it give player 2 your save so when the emulator boots the games will remain in sync. without the save player 2 will loose sync as soon as player 1 loads the game due to seg faults.

I'm assuming he meant Secret of Mana. Unfortunately I don't have any useful information on the actual question.
