Matt Hazard: Blood Bath and Beyond is awesome!

Seriously, play this game! It came out for XBLA and PSN this week and is a must play for fans of run 'n guns like Contra. Not only is it fun and actually challenging, but its funny as hell too. Seriously, I just fought a lighthouse! Has anyone else tried this yet? Or at least played the demo? I am having so much fun with this game!

I saw that there was a demo, I decided to skip it since the 1st game sucked. I'll download it in a few, if I dont like it, I can delete it

This one is a 2.5D side-scroller, so it's instantly better IMO.

I actually liked the first game, so yeah, I do plan to get this. Sure, the first one was garbage mechanically, but the humor more than made up for it to me.

I actually want to play it now that I know Will Arnett and NPH did voices for it! Was it seriously garbage, or just "kinda meh"? Cause I can play a "kinda meh" game.

Agreed. I played it on the hardest difficulty and it was practically broken. I spawned in areas where I instantly died and I would restart in areas without enough ammo or weapons to take out enemies. It's also not particularly spectacular but it was funny enough to have made it worth playing through.

It's a parody all the glitches, bad spawn points and crappy learning cure/difficulty levels are made that way on purpose to make fun of older and bad games that are instantly memorable to any of us who have played a bad game and laughed our ass off.
