Because the graphics = good games am I right? And resolution =/= graphics.
All consoles can have bad control schemes.
Why does everything need online?

Don't get me wrong, I have a PS3 and I love it to fucking death, but that reasoning for saying a game shouldn't be made for wii is piss poor. At least come up with something a little more creative.
Well, what other differences are there? Besides graphics/resolution, controls and online features, the Wii and PS3/XBOX 360 are the same. Whatever game they make for the Wii, can likely be done better on the PS3.

Now my numbers may be off, I havent really payed that much attention to it since the Japanese release, but I think it was something like $10 for a 100 online. The offline time was free ofcourse. Like I said, this is why I want local lan. I know that most of my friends would have no problem getting together once a month or so to play Monster Hunter. Hell we do it for Dungeon Siege and Gauntlet right now.

Edit:
Looks like they changed the pay structure:
30 days - 800 wii points
60 days - 1500 wii points
90 days - 2000 wii points

That is somewhat acceptable - $8 a month is fairly cheap for an MMO

Capcom France just issued a PR statement saying that Capcom is "committed to multiplatform development." They probably got a nice little phone call from some folks in Japan.

I'm a huge retro gamer, but admittedly for games that don't utilize the Wii's unique functions well, they could develop a better looking version of the same game on another system, with better online functionality. Instead of asking "why care about graphics?", ask "why not?" Even titles like MadWorld would have looked much better on another system.

That said, Wii has the potential for lower development costs, which is a big factor for smaller companies, so I fully support a console with such an option (downloadable titles haven't replaced retail quite yet). Regardless, Capcom isn't one of those smaller companies, nor are they a company that seem to have any idea how to use the Wii controls effectively.

I'm going to disagree specifically because of the differences in controls. Resident Evil 4 on Wii (specifically on Wii, because of the controls) plays much better than Resident Evil 5 on PS3. RE5 has better graphics, but RE4 is much more fun to play. PS3 games have an advantage of better graphics and better online, but controls can go either way. Just like the PC vs. Console debate. RTS's and FPS's play better on PCs, but platformers are much better on consoles. Sure, you can shoehorn all of those onto both platforms, but you cannot argue that Red Alert 3 is as easy to control on the PS3 as it is on the PC.

Actually, I do agree about Resident Evil 4 on Wii, but Capcom doesn't seem eager to duplicate their success there.

Also, graphics on wii can be just as good as some PS360 games (granted, not as good as the high end stuff like Uncharted 2), its just that developers are lazy. Same gges for the control schemes.

So many comments I wont even bother trying to answer them all...I think the one that said it best...the wii is based around retro games...yet you talk shit about it...AND YET!! You join a fucking retro site?...hmm...lets see, maybe those people need to go trash up the IGN forums and stop all this bs over what console is better just because of fucking graphics. How long did it take the ps3 to come out with a GOOD game? How long did it take the 360 to get a console that doesnt kill itself? How much shovelware does the wii have. Look who gives a fuck...leave it be...here is a funny fact:

Lost within has Sold:

3 xbox 360s
2 wiis
6, count them SIX fucking ps3s

hmm...

So long story short, if you can not enjoy every console and are only here to moan about "oh my god this is better than this because of this" who cares...they all have faults, by owning any one of the next gen consoles you have been bent over without given a reach around. Welcome to the new world of gaming...get used to it.

Yes. No one should ever compare two similar products or form opinions about them. We all need to learn to knock it off and enjoy everything equally, because it's all the same. There is no difference.

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go rent a VHS tape from Blockbuster and watch it on my 13 inch black and white television. Why should I download a 1080p video from the internet and stream it to a 50 inch HDTV? They are exactly the same thing after all. I don't even see why they bothered making color TVs with fancy high resolutions and large screens. It doesn't matter at all and it's certainly not any better.
