Instead of having a new Capcom game on the Wii where it will have poor, low resolution graphics, potentially bad control and possible limited netplay (if any at all), I can look forward to the game on a machine that can do a better job with it, such as the PS3. The only downside to this news is that PS3 games are often plagued with DLC.

And if it's XBOX 360 I can't even begin to consider it until they make a console that doesn't break within a few years. Sigh.. I hate this generation of consoles.
This is pretty much how I feel, except for the last line. I have a PS3 & 360 but no Wii.

Also, I agree that this is just a guy from Capcom Europe, not Japan, so we don't really know how true this is.

It was a very successful PS2 game before it was ported to the PSP.

Tri's US release was also confirmed to support Wii Speak and USB keyboards. Ive played the demo of Tri through several times and have a feeling that itll be alot like PSO Episodes I&II on the Wii. An awesome experience, with only a handful of dedicated players. It really comes down to how Capcom plays their cards on it. If there is local lan I am in for two copies, if it is online paysystem only, well Ill be more reserved but will be buying atleast one. If the paysystem is as skewed as the Japanese one (pay by the hour) then I dont know if Ill take it online.

Word on the street is two player splitscreen coop and four player online, we will see how it all pans out. Sadly I doubt we will get the port of G like the Japanese did.

This only proves my opinion of the Wii on other posts,
The Wii is very upsetting.

I mean, no body is utilizing its graphics ability. Its like GC 1.5 , GC/XBOX games look good, really good and the Wii should look better but every one is putting out simple graphics as an excuse that the Wii is not HD.
The other thing is no one is utilizing the motion controls. Any one remember how big the possibilities were when they introduced this?
You think motion plus would give you hope but no.

I think if there is no hardcore gamers on the Wii , then Galaxy, Zelda, RE4, and others would have not sold a thing but they did, plus we wouldn't see such a healthy homebrew community. You think those people are the families that wouldn't know what an HDMI is , and care only for carnival games?

The truth is Nintendo and other developers quit on the Wii as a "hardcore" game system and so did I when I woke up and smelled the coffee. Nintendo is just releasing same old same old, they are even putting out Galaxy 2, when was the last time Nintendo put two Mario games on a single console?

I love my Wii because it gives me the option to play Snes, Genesis, Famicom, TurboGraffix, Gameboy, and Neo-Geo games, it also plays GameCube games and Wii games(the few good ones). There is no other single console/hardware that would let you do that, and all of this for $250/$200 . What a bargain!
But the Wii for Wii games, damn does it suck compared to ps3 and 360. It probably sucks even compared to ps2

The same thing was said about the Gamecube with two Zeldas, yet that doesnt seem to phase anyone here since most of us consider the Gamecube a viable console. To answer your question: the last console was the SNES, the last handheld was the GBA (granted those were enhanced ports - Mario 3 is the reason to have an Ereader).

that's right. I wouldn't worry about it. I don't remember anything good coming out from france other than FRENCH FRIES, FRENCH BREAD and my favorite with my wife FRENCH KISS.

Have they ever made a game that made it out of France?

Who cares? Enjoy the system (and other systems) for what they are. You'll have less stress in life.

Except we're just now seeing Motion Plus games. Give it a few months first before you decry it.

I didn't even know they were planning to charge for it. That's what stopped me from playing phantasy star universe and socom on the ps2. And pay by the hour? That's kind of revolting... I know when I was playing the one for psp, I had sunk about 300 hours in not doing anything particularly ambitious. I've heard of other people with thousands of hours on it. How much do they get charged by the hour to play?
