First I should say I mainly use my PS2 for PSOne games.
I have recently purchased a Universal S-Video adaptor and am running it through a Pelican Universal System Selector. Due to the fact I'm running 8 systems through my 42" Phillips 1080p LCD. My PS2 games look fine but when I'm playing my PS1 games I notice some pictulation on the screen. Nothing that can't be ignored but simple RCA's look better.
Has anyone else run into this problem? If I hook it up to a PSOne will I have this same problem?

Re: PS2 S-Video Problems
I used the Monster GameLink 300 S-Video cable with my PS2. It worked great for PS1 ans PS2 games. Perhaps it's the cable that's causing you issues? Shameless plug: I no longer use the GameLink 300's, and would be willing to sell them for $5 shipped. LMK if interested.

"Pixelation" is a bit vague. Can you describe it in more detail? While it might be your cables, the fact that your ps2 games look fine leads me to believe it's not. You may just be seeing the dithering the ps1 performs. It's much more noticable with svideo or RGB connections.
