As someone who loves games, this is good news, I think. Instead of having a new Capcom game on the Wii where it will have poor, low resolution graphics, potentially bad control and possible limited netplay (if any at all), I can look forward to the game on a machine that can do a better job with it, such as the PS3. The only downside to this news is that PS3 games are often plagued with DLC.
And if it's XBOX 360 I can't even begin to consider it until they make a console that doesn't break within a few years. Sigh.. I hate this generation of consoles.
The Wii is flooded with rails shooters. Did they really think RE Darkside Chronicles would sell well? I think it sold 16,000 copies if I remember correctly, thats pretty good considering. I know they had other games that sales were lower than expected, but the Wii has a very large casual customer base and they just don't buy as many games as someone with a PS3 or 360.
Most people buy a Wii for 1st party titles and there library contains mostly Nintendo made games only or crappy 3rd party minigame titles. Its a shame because there is some true unknown gems out there if you can shovel through the bad games. I have a bad feeling Capcom vs Tatsunoko will fail to live up to sales expectations as well. I just think the Wii doesn't have a large enough audience for these types of games.

Hmm...well, considering that I only really buy nintendo games unless I KNOW its something good *like no more heros*...all I have to say is fuck capcom. Only good games they put out as of late were on gamecube and wait...my wii is fully backward compatible?...again...fuck um.

Shovel isnt even the word...I have about 5 non nintendo titles, that I consider awesome...but again, I wont buy something NON nintendo until I can try it out, and honestly capcom had only TWO games COMING OUT I was looking at. NOTHING has came from them as of late that I own or wanted to own.
Meh... while their games probably would do better on other systems, it's not like they were exactly bringing their A-Game with Darkside Chronicles.
To me, it's like being shocked that you didn't win a lottery you didn't buy a ticket for - sure, you'd probably lose regardless, but you could have at least tried.
Thats just it not many companies are TRYING to make GOOD games just TRYING to make money. De Blob...awesome game, no more heros...crazy as hell and cant wait for part 2, mad world one of the few sega titles worth a damn, I mean there are alot of good games but like stated above...you have to dig thru so much crap to find them. Funny thing is...if you actually make a REALLY good game...hardcore wii gamers tell ALL their friends...and they pick it up. So its not that we as gamers arnt buying...we just are smart enough NOT to go out and buy a turd that happens to be covered in a white case.
XBOX 360: a system with a 60% failure rate
PS3: a system with mandatory firmware updates that won't let you play your games unless you update
Wii: a system with sub par graphics and lots of shovel ware
I think I'm glad I have a decent PC for now. The only thing that bothers me is lack of split screen multiplayer, some games have DRM, and backwards compatibility is problematic (Duke 3D, Shadow Warrior, and Monkey Island won't work on my new CPU). If a reliable XBOX 360 came out, I'd get that.
