I've never played it, but have been wanting too. I hate using emulators without a good controller.

Oh man, you have to get it. I think it goes for as low as $40 loose for the SNES, but there is a DS version that can be had for like $30 new. The PSX version was cool, but the load times make it hard to play IMO, and the anime cut-scenes were put into the DS version.

The combat in this game has a much better feel than most JRPGs IMO. Play it with the active battle system to make the game flow better if you aren't into the slow pace. Also, the lack of random encounters makes for a unique experience.
