This one haunted my sister and I when we had Sonic 3+K collection on the PC. We could never get past this, so we would only play as knuckles. I swear, this one screwed with my head. Honestly, some of the things people have been saying aren't all that bad...

I guess mine was buying DOOM 3 when I had onboard video. I think I got half a frame a second. :lol:

I never beat Punch Out!! (Sandman is a cheater).

I'm fairly positive that I haven't ever fully completed even a tutorial mission in any of the Civilization games (nor SMAC).

I initially lost at the tutorial for Homeworld and also never got more than two missions into the campaign.

I've never successfully created a respectable-sized Sim City and expanded it to any meaningful extent before utterly destroying it with disasters.

I beat Dungeon Lords twice back-to-back shortly after it came out (i.e. almost completely unpatched).

My mom beat me regularly in Killer Instinct and Destrega.

I remember being unable to do special moves in Street Fighter II for the longest time as I just didn't know about the whole circular motion thing. I think I actually believed that doing a fireball required me to push down THEN push down-right THEN push right. Like three seperate actions. I was so stupid.

I pretty much missed out on the Saturn era, and only bought a Saturn about two years ago I think(I made up for it though by fully supporting the Dreamcast when it was released). To add to my shame, I have a copy of Dragon Force I got off ebay that I STILL haven't played. I'm almost afraid to given its rarity. Like I'm afraid of accidentally scratching the disk or something. I should look into the whole back-up disc thing

I didn't know who Tim Schaefer was until long after he was a well known talent. To date, the only games of his I have played are Grim Fandango and Psychonauts.

I can't count how many times I have gotten my butt kicked in a rpg simply for forgetting to upgrade my equipment

I'm quite ashamed that I have only recently developed an appreciation for import gaming(thanks to Sin and Punishment)

Oh, this one takes the cake. I traded in a couple games when I was younger to get a copy of Megaman X4. While I certainly don't regret purchasing Megaman X4, one of the games I traded in was the original Chrono Trigger. I still beat myself up over that to this day. I'm actually mad simply BECAUSE I traded in some games, given that I'm kind of collector now. I have given away or sold so many things in my youth that I greatly regret to this day(old comic books, old GI Joes and generation 1 transformers, etc)

I have Street Fighter crap everywhere but I am average at best. Getting your ass kicked when you have figures,poster, and every version imaginable is no good!

Back in the day when it was released I part exchanged Panzer Dragoon Saga... :cry:

Also got/had Snes FF6 (known as 3) cart somewhere...Just have no clue how it vanished into thin air. Last time I saw it was a few years ago...

The only games (besides fighters/racers) I've ever actually beaten are Metal Gear Solid, Megaman X, Donkey Kong Country, and Army Men 3D for PSX :cry:

. I've come close on several more, but never finished the deal...but I've had alot of fun and wasted alot of money in the process :roll:

I don't think I've played any rpg for more than a few minutes, with the exception of World of Warcraft. I really can't stand the rpg genre for the most part.

I can't stand RTS's either. Too much micro-management for me to enjoy it.

My mom and I found nearly every level in Bubble Bobble.

I usually can't beat the second race on F-Zero for the Gamecube.

I lost my copy of Castlevania: Symphony of the Night.

Perhaps my most shameful admission...I beat Sewer Shark for the Sega CD, and actually enjoyed it..

It's actually a challenging game.
I played it a lot back in the day and probably didn't get even get half-way through.
I think I only advanced one rank.

It took me a while, but I finally figured out that the only way you could win is if you didn't shoot all the time, since it uses up power. I never quite understood that one myself..

I just remembered another occasion, my friends and I reached the final boss in Mega Man 2, and could never beat him. It was until I read the novelization of the game, that we figured out you had to use the Bubble Lead. I kind of miss that book now, hokey writing and everything..
