I stand corrected. Would all of that handling of the GC be considered the precursor to Wii Fit?
no, but this would...

just a bit confused about the multiplayer aspect. is that only for select GBA games designed with the Player in mind? since multiplayer for any handheld would involve a separate screen for each participant how would that work with the player? or is multiplayer only for when you use a GBA or GBA SP as a controller so then you have desperate screens?

i dont own a gamecube or player, just curious.

not sure what they're trying to say... the GBPlayer can link to a GBA for multiplayer. And of course there's the option of doing 2 GBPlayers linked with 2 screens like the Four Swords party...

And it should be noted that once the GB player starts up the disc stops spinning. I have four Gameboy Players and only three discs (though I will eventually change that). So if you do decide to play one of those motion games you can take the disc out completely if you want.

well you can play multi player with the gba player for gamecube. on the front of the player it has a port if you have a link cable and a gba to connect to it. i also use my e reader on my gba player, it works very well.

There are a few Gameboy games that can play mutliplayer on the Super Gameboy if you have a multitap - Bomberman GB is the only one that comes to mind. But I do not know of any on the GBA that do the same (or if that works on the GBplayer).

It's definitely worth getting. My favorite thing about it is that it allows you to use a game boy advance as a controller, so you don't have to fool with the Gamecube's crappy d-pad. And yes, it does play game boy advance games.
