Mad Catz TvC Fight Stick

It looks like this may be THE definitive stick for the Wii. The biggest problem with the Horis is that the joystick is always mapped to the d-pad (I believe, it's either that or left stick). Looking at the picture and based on my own experiences with the PS3 version, we should be able to switch between d-pad and left stick (and maybe right stick as well), which means that it will work for EVERY game that you'd want to use a stick on.

That looks pretty nice but how come there isn't a full on sanwa parts TE edition this time? Maybe that one will come out a little later after people have already bought this one -_-

I'm a little interested but I think I'll sit back and see how this pans out before making my move.

I'm guessing they feel the market for a fight stick on the Wii is small enough that the more expensive stick isn't worth them producing.

Looks nice, but all I'll be doing is looking. It's already hard to justify the price of most fight sticks, I sure as hell can't justify $100+ for a stick that I'll only use for one game.

Does TvC support Gamecube controllers? If so, I might just get a Gamecube fight stick.

From the amazon page

"Enhanced control schemes offer a simplified control scheme option and allow use of the Nintendo classic and Gamecube controllers, other third-party controllers for Wii, as well as the Wii Remote and Nunchuk."
So yes it does support the gamecube controllers.

I am in for one. I have two Hori sticks and they get a decent amount of gametime. If I cant find the two other Horis that are supposedly in stock nearby then I might buy two (4 player Bubble Bobble with sticks is just sweet). I wish I could get the Neo Geo stick for a decent price, but it keeps going up.

Oh and yes it supports Gamecube controllers. It plays fine on GC or CC controllers, the stick is just butter though.
