I am purchasing this FM Towns Marty II from Marriot_Guy from videogameconsolelibrary

Now I have been searched the web trying to find more info on the system but I keep finding the same info over and over. I need to know all exclusive releases, FM Towns compatibility list, and WHERE TO FIND THE GAMES!

I searched Ebay and I bid on ever single auction they had, but where are the cheaper titles? I know they are out there. I don't mean $5 but at least under $35 and playable.

The system looks awesome and looks to have some great versions of games, sometimes the best (lucas arts).

Now even though I am getting the II should I get the first version instead? Is it really slower like some websites have mentioned?

Now please, please don't keep responding Splatter House is awesome. I know its awesome but it seems thats all people know about the FM Towns and I am tired of reading it over and over and over again :evil: . Frankly, I don't think its worth the $200+ price tag.

Any "other" info you guys can add would appreciated. And if some one happens to be selling some FM Towns Merch. let me know.

They have some stuff, other then that and Ebay I never really see much of the FM. You might have some luck talking to Breetai or someone from Japan.

I don't know a ton about it, but I have a feeling Yahoo Japan would be your best bet.

I have checked yahooauction japan but suprisingly ebay has a better selection. Also risng stuff has some selection of FM Towns games at cheap prices, but after doing some research I can only confirm 2 of the games they have listed for sale work on a Marty.

I really can't help you here, as the ONLY place I've ever seen this stuff is in Akihabara... and it's even a rare sight there.
