I was just looking at this at amazon


I thought it was a and okay design but since it connects into the wii mote it shouldn't work with GCN games. But then they make this statement.
"It's Wavebird-like design, along with an ergo friendly button layout made it ideal for any Gamecube, or N64 games that you may have on your Wii Virtual Console."

Does anyone have this? Does it really work with GCN games?

Judging by what you have said, it works with GCN virtual console games. It will not work with actual physical GCN discs, as those don't use a wii remote in any way.

My guess is that it's just a typo. Or a crock.

You can't use it for Gamecube games if it doesn't plug into the Gamecube port, so this is probably just for Wii games that happen to be compatible with the Gamecube controller.

Why did I forget there are no GC games on the VC. . .
They're probably saying that to make it sound more appealing.

Now for something completely different. A 3rd party wii classic controller that plugs in the gc controller port.
Do you think the home, +, and -. Buttons work on this controller

Somebody on this site claimed he bought one of those a couple months ago. I dont think he ever reviewed it.
