My favorite find

Post by lost_within »

Well I posted about this a couple days and no one said anything so I got it for myself...today I picked up a brand new gamecube from walmart. It was so cool opening a brand new system that I havnt seen new in years. I will open consoles...only a few select games would I even keep sealed...I know I know, you can pass out now. But after getting the new gamecube...I went right to gamestop to get a gameboy player. Well it was horrible looking, I didnt even look at it until I was in my car. After seeing how horrible it was, and it being there last one, I went to another game stop that apparently is about to throw away all their gamecube stuff period...he had to go in back just to hunt for it, but it was like brand new. So score number 2. Got home put in my original copy of warioland 2 from when I was a kid and...score number 3! Its still saved and I am at the final boss WOO!...soo...after all this my question is:

Besides all the zelda/mario/wario games...are there any other MUST play games for GB/GBC/GBA I should be looking for?
Yep, I know im the one ya love to hate.

Man, that's awesome! Congrats on that score! Should check out the Final Fantasy (either the FF Advance or Legend series) or the Dragon Warrior games if you like RPGs. Personally, I like the Contra, Battletoads, MegaMan V, and Ninja Shadow as far as platformers go. Metroid II is pretty bad ass aslo. The GB/GBC/GBA has some great games, check out the guides on here - tons of good finds!

I ALWAYS look at stores for gamecube stuff, and I can tell you I havnt seen a console in YEARS. Well thats not true, when circuit city was going under I saw 6 and didnt pick one up. Anyway, the story is...wal mart was doing back stock bringing stuff out for xmas and someone saw the gamecube, the store figured...its xmas time bring it out it will sell. So they pulled it out, along with a set of bongos...but considering I have all 3 donkey kongas sealed and then 6 sets of bongos...I really dont want more, I figured I would snag the gamecube. Mostly to have a nice new controller but to also have a BRAND NEW gamecube to use on a gameboy player. Price was 50$ apparently once stuff in stores like walmart, kmart, so forth so on, get so low...thats just there price. They will throw it away before losing money on whatever they spent to get the bulk order I suspose. Just like my donkey konga 2...old as hell and still cost me 30$ new at a kmart. But the cube was more or less a gift...as well as what I am about to post in the "finds of the day" section...
