My wife taught me to use nail polish remover. It's like a miracle.

That works most of the time, but there are some stickers that are a gooey mess. They usually come off in one piece, but you need a solvent to get the glue off.

Light fluid and tape. If you let the sticker soak in lighter fluid you can peel it right off. That doesn't actually describe it properly, it's more like slides/falls off. It kills the glue and you can take any sticker off with no problem. My girlfriend used to work at a used game store and her manager had them using lighter fluid to get rid of the stickers on all the games that got traded in. If you're have any sticky residue on cases you can just use a strong tape to lift the glue off.
