Re: About that Nexus memory card

Does that seem the usual price or should I keep looking?

Hmm. I have a feeling that these Nexus cards are somewhat rare nowadays. On eBay, all I found was this.

I did find a link though! Check this out. Only $20 for the card, and $7.50 for the link cable!

I'm still wondering if I need to invest in one of these, but my game collection isn't very large, and I could always just buy some VMUs or 3rd party memory cards.

Thumbs up to the Sword of the Berserker recommendation. Extremely underappreciated. I think it was GameFan that was like the only magazine talking about it and giving it props when it came out. It's one of bloodiest hack and slash games ever. Good voice acting as I recall(english version I played)l, decent story(since it's based on an anime), and some cool Dragon's Lair style moments. Some awesome bosses too.

It's not the deepest game gameplaywise, but like many of the Dreamcast's better games, it's a great arcade-like experience

Oh, and MDK 2 is a memorable game. It's right up there with Conker's Bad Fur Day and Earthwom Jim as one of those wacky experiences that will make you laugh and go WTF!? Very hard though

If you want one for every genre, go pick up Chu Chu Rocket for the puzzler/party game.

You can also spring for a pair of Cha Cha Amigo maracas from play-asia (around 25 bucks, plus shipping)... That game is sorta on a similar field as Karaoke -- its a rhythm game which is best at parties.

You have a bunch of recommended technical fighters, but you should probably consider Power Stone for a lighter fighting game. The original PowerStone is, overall, better than the sequel in many respects. The sequel introduces alot more chaos (but most o fit becomes predictable after a few rounds) and allows for four players.
