I pretty much agree with all of dsheinem's opinions on those films, except I haven't seen The Wrestler yet and I probably enjoyed Star Trek a bit more.

I last saw Bolt. Pretty much the only good part of the movie was Rino. They should have made the movie a straight up comedy, instead of having numerous comedic moments.

I really, Really, REALLY wanted to see this movie for a very long time and it did not disappoint. With a touching story, beautiful animation and heartwarming ending it really made the wait pay off.

Plus the animation was very pretty and the dub was one of the best I've ever heard.

Here's the trailer for those of you who haven't seen it yet, or are interested in it:

Now if only I could convince my sister to watch it.... she's the type who instantly considers a work worthless if it isn't the newest star driven live-action feature; yet she really likes these types of movies. Hopefully I can eventually get her hypocritical ass to watch it, after all she kept going on and on about how she wanted to watch the Miyazaki moves and a few other Anime films when Anime was big with the mainstream (Damn/Thank you Disney.) a few years back but now she's all negative about it.

I saw this a few months ago and it was just beautiful. Everything about it was great. I got a bit distracted that the time stream looked exactly like the internet in the Digimon Movie, but I got over it. Certainly a classic (and based off of a classic book).

I watched Borat last night for the first time. I just can't understand it. I have a large amount of friends who are just obsessed with this movie - like quoting lines obsessed. These are not the friends you would expect who like stupid shows like Jackass. Borat reminded me of Jackass with a paper thin lesson thrown in at the very end. Just a guy walking around doing stupid shit on the street - okay not as bad as Jackass that features a bunch of snots trying to humiliate everyone as much as possible. Borat didn't go quite that far, and I guess I can see why some people found some moments funny. I just don't think it is this testament to society that everyone seems to think it is - it's just some guy doing stuff that would probably drive anyone to react the way some of these people did. Comedy is such a confusing genre to me, this is why I like horror/sci-fi.

I'm the same way with Borat. I thought it was a bunch of unexpected people's reactions to some over the top foreigner. What I got was a bunch of actors reactions to an over the top foreigner. Sure, some of the people weren't actors, but I'd say the majority were.

And now, I've got to re-watch the man with no name trilogy, thanks to Dshem.

You would be surprised, i actually saw Sasha(sp?) speak at a Screen Actor's guild screening of Bruno, where many of the people in the audience (all actors themselves) even shared this viewpoint, from what he and Larry Charles described, its all real, they might set up a situation, but from then on, its all improv

I watched alot of movies on my week off.
Animal Crackers - Marx Brothers
Citizen Kane
If I Had a Million
Harvey - Still Jimmy Stewart's best film
And the typical array of Christmas Movies:
Wonderful Life, Christmas Story, Holiday Inn, White Christmas, Claymation Christmas Special,
Star Wars Christmas Special (well about twenty minutes of it).

I also started watching my Scifi tv shows again:
Doctor Who - almost done with Baker
Battlestar Galactica (new series)

And I was introduced to the Middleman - all you comic fans should watch this if you havent already.
