drunken ebay buys

I don't drink to excess often. Maybe once a month, if that. Usually only on an occasion for celebration I'll partake in libation to the point of inebriation. Lately every time i end up drunk, 3 or 4 days go buy and i get a package in the mail. Sure enough, i found something on ebay while i was wasted and bought it.

Now- it started with little things... The first thing was Cadillacs and Dinosaurs for the sega CD at like 4 dollars shipped. No big deal.

Today i got a package which had docs wireless dreamcast controllers in it. whoa whoa whoa now. I know those go for a bit, so i look it up. I drunkenly bought wireless controllers for around 85 bucks. Don't get me wrong, i'll use em. I'm happy to. They were something i was thinking about getting for a long time. Just.... I didn't expect to get them this way.

Only small purchases like your Cadillacs and Dinos buy, but an $85 purchase would probably piss me off pretty good.

heh- haven't had a chance to try em out yet. I've been busy all day. Ironicly, my dreamcast isn't even plugged in so i have to go through some boxes to find the cables. ugh.

If they are anything like the other docs controllers i have, they are a solid build and IR wireless. Doc's makes good stuff. The only thing i don't really care for is that the analogue stick is kinda hard to reach. A minor gripe, seeing as the original dreamcast controllers were handcripplingly painful.

I don't drink, so I haven't ever bought anything on eBay while drunk...

That being said, I have recently passed two kidney stones and was heavily medicated due to the pain. Today alone I had three packages arrive in the mail. I knew they were coming, but I still bought them when I was all messed up. I got a GenMobile, a GN Twin, Beggar Prince for the Genesis, Takin' it to the Hoop for the Turbografx-16, and Mega Man 2 for the NES. I also picked up a Sega CD from isaacsquared, but I wasn't doped up when I negotiated that buy.

Ooooo... That is a bad one.

In my defense, the drugged up version of me decided that it would be logical for me to own the actual game of Takin' it to the Hoop since I had been given the empty case earlier this year.

Not true, I bought "Ballz" for the Genesis while extremely tired.
