That's cool to hear someone got it working fine.
:D

I just fitted mine today, although I bought it months and months ago.

It's being is really temprimental.
Some games seem to work and others just crash at various places (before menus, at SEGA logo) or boot out to CD playing bios menu. I know it's not the rips coz they worked fine with disc swap, and after A LOT of reboots they usually work fine.
Radiant Silvergun works fine everytime tho.

Oh well.

Just curious, is it consistently giving problems on the same games in the same places?

Nope it's different everytime, or was then.
Now however it seems to only read discs, originals or copied, as audio CDs. :s

I'm gonna check it over later on, see if I missed something or whatever
Luckily I have two saturns so I can still play my originals

It still comes up as an audio CD sometimes, but usually I can get it to work with a number of power cycles and resets. Not sure exactly what the deal is, but since I can get it to work, I will leave well enough alone.

Pictures of his flawless install, maybe I am doing something wrong, but I doubt it.

Another success: I had a friend help me mod the modchip to work in my Model 1. It worked!

I swear that's the problem with my Saturn. I have lots of excess build up on the power connector! I really need to buy a desoldering braid now. Thanks! Great job tho, it is true that lots of people don't take it slow. I know, cuz I got pretty frustrated myself. God, it sure was ugly. Totally demolished one of the solder iron tips...Lol, why I'm putting this on the internet, I dono...
