I mean I can understand if maybe they just had the disc for sale but they have a stock pic of the game posted. They didn't see the huge letters saying SEGA SATURN. It makes me wonder how these people are so ignorant.
eBay fail
Re: eBay fail
I get plenty of awesome deals off ebay due to misspells and items put into wrong catagories. For example, try typing in platstation and see for yourself. Once in awhile you get a prick who says they broke the item by accident while packing it or while moving it. For the most part though thats where the deals are though.

I do this sometimes when shopping for Famicom games. I usually type in Famicon but I haven't seen anything noteworthy. I think there is a service that searches mispells on ebay for you.corn619 wrote:I get plenty of awesome deals off ebay due to misspells and items put into wrong catagories. Re: eBay fail
When I was seriously collecting Intellivision stuff I got some GREAT wins by searching for Intellevision items. You also have to remember that about half the video game things sold on ebay are being sold by people who wouldn't know a Sega Master System from an Atari 2600.
Ow! My small intestine!

Re: eBay fail
I never buy games or systems off ebay or Craigslist without a legit picture of the actual item. If the seller is too lazy or doesn't want to post a real picture of the item for some other reason, then it is definitely not worth my time or money.
On a related note, I've seen people list stuff under Item Condition as "New" but then go on to mention that the product has actually been opened or used in a latter part of the description page.
