Personally I felt Resident Evil 1-2 were great. Third one was bleh.

Shame there's not a subtitle option for this forum otherwise I'd have posted asking not to mention adaptations in this topic. We're discussing movies inspired by videogaming culture. And if they critique said culture all the better!

I would just like to take a moment and say that Mortal Kombat is definitely one of the better adaptations. It's silly, over the top, and somewhat gruesome, just like the game, but I enjoyed it. I'd avoid the second like the plague though.

Also Double Dragon.

The Last Starfighter is a game adaptation. The game is Raiden III.
