Hard copies of English Policenauts and Dreamcast Half life

Post by CAv »

Does anybody know if there is a site or somebody here who sells or distributes burned copies of games that can only be obtained online like the dreamcast version of half-life or the english version of Policenauts? I would like to obtain these and other games in formats playable on their intended consoles but I don't possess the knowhow or software to do it.
Systems: Atari 7800, NES, SNES, N64, Gamecube, Wii, Saturn, Dreamcast, PS2, Xbox, Xbox 360, Game Boy Pocket (2), Game Boy Color, GBA SP (2), DS

You... would rather pay for a burned disc than just do it yourself?

Burning games is pretty low level tech stuff, your computer has the necessary software and hardware if it was made less than 10 years ago. You can just google "half life dreamcast iso" or "policenauts iso" to obtain the images, then you just take the file you downloaded and drag it onto a disc you placed into your computer. The policenauts translation patch comes with instructions, and patching the iso isn't as intimidating as it sounds.

While I wouldn't pay a ton, I would pay for a nice case for the game, and even an instruction manual if someone took the time to make one.

I don't expect such things, but I'm lazy, and I'd pay for one if someone did it.

Depending on price of course.

Seriously, learn how to burn a game. You'll be a better computer user for it, and it's dead easy to do.

If you're not up to it, find a friend that will help you who is. Don't encourage scumbags that try to profit off that sort of thing.

Half-life for DC is not worth playing...unless you enjoy horrible loading screens every 100 yards. Just getting through the intro takes forever because of all the loading.

policenauts you need a modded PlayStation to play it. if you don't have one of those than emulate it. look around for guides on epsxe (PlayStation emulator). half-life like stated isn't too worth it on the dreamcast. none the less, look for a guide on how to burn a dreamcast game....i think there is one on this very site. as long as you download a cdi (or nrg) format, you can burn it and pop it into the DC and it will boot no problem. but never buy burned games from people. its a complete rip when you can make one with only a cd-r that costs a few cents and a computer, which you already have.
