Retro Games in Chicagoland

Post by Beak »

Does anyone know of any good places to check out for retro games in the Chicagoland area? Specifically the NW suburbs? I'm up here for a few days but don't normally live here, so I don't know if there are any good places nearby--but this is Chicago so obviously there are some good places.

Anyone have any ideas?

Yes. Use the custom search function.

Also do yourself a favor, get a Superdawg (Milwaukee and Devon), some Old Style, and a Gino's East pizza.

There's a place on Harlem Ave. by the Harlem & Irving Plaza shopping center that sells old games. They have some awesome stuff you dont see like Jaguar games or Neo Geo carts. There's also a place by Wrigley Field down on Clark that has cool stuff too. Sadly the sales tax in Chicago is pretty high...

Oh. I usually search before I post, but I figured there wouldn't already be a post on Chicagoland video game stores. Thanks for the link.

There's Moes Video Games in Volo, IL in the Volo Auto Musuem. Pricey on somethings but a decent place none the less. Just did a video on it actually:

Holy SchnNIKE's! H&I plaza was my go to mall as a kid, and home of the first arcade I've ever been to.

So awesome!
