Yep, I know what you mean, I'm running emulators for some games I can't afford, but I'm still collecting games and systems.jfrost wrote:I have no money for a video game collection. That sucks more. I hope this makes you feel better.
Bleh, this sucks... :(

Re: Bleh, this sucks... :(
I've only just started building an organized collection. I will eventually have to suffer this same fate...
Re: Bleh, this sucks... :(
I got really sad when I realized that the stuff I won in the charity auction will be heading to boxville soon as well...
Re: Bleh, this sucks... :(
I'm in the same boat. I tried to get rid of stuff on the auction to make room for stuff that I knew was arriving. In the end I have less room then when I started. As a bonus, while looking for auction stuff in boxes I found games and systems I didn't even know I had. I'm strongly considering starting a BST thread, but I haven't even used a lot of the stuff yet. I'm pretty good at tetris tho - I know there's a solution. Maybe if I coiled some wires in the spare room...
Re: Bleh, this sucks... :(
I actually thought about selling a few of my spare systems. I have doubles, and even triples of some systems, but I don't have all the power cables, RF cables, AV cables, or controllers to go with some of them. I'll have to go through this weekend and see if I can come up with some stuff to sell here. I know my wife would be happy to see me sell some of it!
Re: Bleh, this sucks... :(
I can't speak for everyone, but my problem is that while I do recognize that i have more stuff then i play and could part with a lot of it, my hate for going to the post office and actually shipping stuff overshadows it.
having said that- I think next year's Christmas auction is going to be half of my stuff.
