So, what did you get for Christmas?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Yeah, I didn't like that either. To be fair though, that would make an already easy game even easier.

My girlfriend got me an NES with about 5 games, including American Gladiators.
However, let me clarify - this NES belonged to my aunt, and this NES was the first console I ever played, and American Gladiators was the first video game I played in my life. And she discovered this, and talked my aunt into giving it up so now not only to I finally have a nintendo, but I have a very significant piece of video game history (for me). I love her so much :)

I also got an iPod Touch from me.

With the cash I got I got a little something something for me: namely a Crimson Black DS Lite to replace my old one that has been MIA since July. To go along with it I bought Chrono Trigger and Metal Slug 7 along with a replacement copy of Meteos off eBay. I still have the case and stuff so I went cart only. I even signed up for a trial of Amazon Prime so I could get my DS on Wednesday! I'm so stoked.

Funny you mention that.

I saw UP with my wife in 3D when it was first released. The theater was full. Almost the entire theater cried within the first 15 minutes.

SPOILERS, color #FFFFFFFF a little girl behind us asked her Father, "Is she dead Daddy?" He answered through tears, "Yes", and then they both cried, which almost made me cry

I watched it again with my parents, and my Mom was a wreck after it. She said they should have named it "DOWN" since it is so depressing. She cried more during UP than at her Father's funeral.

I still love it, and besides HARVEY and PLATOON, it is the only movie that has really touched me on an emotional level.

don't get me wrong, it's a great film. My wife and I caught it on a busride back from NYC last month. We had both wanted to see it, but the scene within the first 15 mins that you mention... it just fucking killed us both. We were sobbing and surrounded by a busload of strangers. Should have come with a warning!
