Neo Geo CD ISO/MP3 Burning

Excuse me for asking for what has already been covered in your tutorials, racketboy, but as good as they were I am still stuck on this issue:

I want to run my Neo Geo CD games on my Dreamcast. I've got the proper emulator (Neo4All) up and running, and its just dying to load up a 90's classic. I have the iso of the game, and it's mp3's. I've tried first just burning the iso alone, and the game works fine, just without music (so its no region issue).

When I try to get the music burnt too, things go sour. I used a decoder to convert the MP3's to WAV. Then I used Sega Cue maker to make a .cue file of the iso and its respective MP3's. I then plugged the cue file into DiscJuggler to make my disc.

When I finally try to run the game with Neo4All, I get a "no cd in tray" type of error.

Where am I going wrong?? I've lost about 10 cd's figuring this out. I'm down to 1 CD now. I'd like to get at least this last one working. These are Sony CD-R's that I bought...I hate making expensive mistakes

What program are use using to burn?

Nero works best and will do the MP3 conversion for you

I've tried DiscJuggler. Burns, but doesn't work. When I try Nero, should I convert back to mp3? Or keep them at wav? And am I burning as data, or as an image disc?

Discjuggler will only burn the data (ISO), not the music (mp3)

Nero should do the trick.
You don't still have the original MP3s? If not, as long as the WAV files are ok, those should do ok. Just make sure the CUE file references the proper audio files (MP3 or WAV). You can open up the CUE file in Notepad or another text editor to check.

Crap. I should have waited to use Nero. My copy's with a friend, so I downloaded this other program called Sateira. Didn't do the job right dammit! Still no disk error.

Now I'm stuck with no cdr's. Sigh...must have lost AT LEAST ten of these sony discs.

For this particular game im working with, I don't have the original MP3's. But I can easily convert them back. I used the SegaCueMaker to make the associations, and I double checked to make sure they were right.

Hmm....so I'll just have to try Nero when I get it back.

Don't worry about converting them back to MP3. WAV will work fine. Turning it back to MP3 will just degrade the sound quality more.

True. Actually...the total size of the game is 711mb when the MP3's are uncompressed. If I had used Nero, would it have worked out the MP3's such that it would fit on CD when it uncompresses them?

Nero supports overburn... 711 MB usually will fit on a CD... just barely.

Actually, it's more concerned about the time of the audio, not the size
