Should I break them open?

Post by newt42 »

I found two boxed and sealed GBA games during a big close-out sale at the local entertainment store. The games were Astro Boy: Omega Factor, and F-Zero GP Legend. I only paid $12.

Can I break them open, or will I get a lot more money by selling them someplace else?
Systems: SNES, PS1, GBA SP, Gamecube, DS Lite, Wii, PS3 (Fully Backwards Compatible), Dreamcast, Nintendo 64, Sega Genesis, a Sega CD, and a Sega Saturn.

Sell them. Sealed games sell for a quite a lot more than open ones.

The astro boy game sells for around $25 new but I would hold on to it. Its a game a ton of people overlooked since its a licensed game but in fact it was developed by Treasure and take a look at what any sealed Treasure game goes for.

Depends if you want to play them. I got a sealed copy of Space Invaders for the SNES for Xmas, but I wanted to to play it so I opened it. Honestly it wasnt that much more for a new copy then a open one.

It depends on whether you want to play them or not. You would likely get more money for sealed games but I would check prices on ebay and other auction sites before considering to sell them. 8)

I decided screw it, and then opened Astro Boy. Started playing it and its pretty awesome. Best beatem-up I've started playing on the system. Thanks to Racketboy for making me think twice about buying this game. If it weren't for his Hidden Gem Guides, I would have put it back.

I also took a look at videogamepricecharts.com and found that I paid 5 dollars too much for the sealed F-Zero GP Legend. So I decided to open that one too.

I have the same question, should I open my Super Mario World for GBA? I bought it in a large lot of games, so I spent about 8 bucks on it.
It is the Player's Choice version, if that matters.

Also, Has anyone ever heard of Dr. Sudoku for GBA? I have seen it for $6 at K mart.
