So where do you all work?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Tell me so I may be envious. Even if you flip burgers, I'm envious of you, because you get to make steady money.

Also, how did you acquire the job?

I do graphic design and publishing at my family business. Usually the subject matter is very boring, though

Toys R Us. Got hired as temp seasonal cashier, they fired someone in electronics and offered me his part time job, then let me run that dept for a season, then offered me a full time supervisor position over that + other depts. This was over the course of two years. Now I am going back to school to be a nurse. It fucking sucks to be both responsible for the work output of part timers who don't give a shit about their jobs, and also deal with the general public. However I was lucky I got noticed for working hard, plenty jobs you can work your ass off and get nowhere.

Mozgus you did not tell us what you do!

I suppose I should mention that I have a degree in Computer Science, but graduated right when outsourcing really started to take hold and was unable to find any jobs that fit my degree.

I'm a system admin for a Fleet Management System for the local Gas/Electric utility company.
It's mostly data integrity/user access rights/report developing stuff.

Before this I've had other tech-related stuff (programming, web development) and I interned with the company before that.
