So uh...Sonic X-treme is out?
According to Insert Credit.com
"Assembler and other collectors from his forums have released the 'Nights engine' build of Sonic Xtreme, though some say it has nothing to do with that particular engine. "A lot of underground collectors banded together to get the Sonic Xtreme game from the collector who paid nearly $3000 last year," says Assembler."

I don't need Xtreme to satisfy my craving for Sonic. Blast was enough on the Saturn.
I don't know why Xtreme is wanted so badly. I guess everyone wants it because it's 3D, but I think that's faulty logic because the game was terribly clunky and pixilated. At the same time many of you are saying Blast wasn't the game we should have gotten. Sonic 3D Blast may be a 2D game, but it's one of the best looking 2D Games I've ever seen. And I know if Xtreme ever came out I couldn't say the same about its premetive 3D polygons.
We've seen the graphics in Xtreme. But does anyone know if it's even any fun to play?
Look into Project S, they are trying to complete the game. But while their working can we please stop criticizing the fact we got a 3D rendered, 14 stage, secret filled Sonic adventure? Sorry for ranting but I think nobody really gave the game a chance.
