I watched the show religiously. Friday's had Zelda. Then there was that other show that had Nester and Mega Man.

Are you sure it had Nester? I think you're thinking of Captain N: The Game Master, and that didn't have Nester. More or less. The lack of resemblance those characters had to their actual designs was bizarre.
