Playstation Mod/GameEnhancer

I was originally considering a mod chip, but I know nothing about putting it in. So I now see there is this "game enhancer" things that plugs into the back on the psx that allows cd-r to play. Does anyone know a good place online to buy one? Thanks.

I had one like that and it worked for me ok until the laser just gave up on the PSX.

you can buy one here www.consolesource.com Ive bought numerous time from this ppl and got great service. And the shipping price is reasonable they are located in Canada and Im in Puerto Rico and for a couple of things they charged me $8.

Only problem with these "modplugs" is that you have to keep adjusting the laser to get the games to work properly or keep from skipping.

I had one for a long time and had to always mess with the pot on the laser.
