2 multitaps
anyway, I once held a 10 player bomberman party. One word: epic.
Saturn Bomberman is so awesome. Sometimes some strange giant dragon end boss type character would come and join in while we were in multiplayer mode. We were like WTF!
Any info on that huge dragon creature that dropped in? Never found out what it was.

You're lucky that your grandparents actually know what a Saturn is. My parents looked at my Christmas list, and didn't know what any of it was.

Is there a good place to find recommendations on the Japanese Saturn games? I noticed that on undergroundgamer, there are tons of Japanese Saturn games. I have no idea to tell which ones are good. Also, which ones are playable by a non-Japanese speaking person.

I didn't say that it would, did I?

I haven't heard the explanation that Sega gave the wrong dimensions to third party manufacturers. Interesting stuff.

Just type in "top "Saturn games"" on google. You'll find countless lists. Personally, how about Astal, Guardian Heroes and DoDonPachi? That's three awesome games right there.

First: You have awesome grandparents!

Second: You don't need to install a Region switch, just buy one of those 3 in 1 carts, it has the RAM expansion for Capcom fighters, a save game slot & you can play games from different regions!

Good old Bomera - you should only see him if he is won in the Bomb Catcher prematch. He is a mechanic to add more chaos to matches on the big map. I believe he comes in when you have destroyed about 60% of the stage.

But to get more on topic. I suggest the following (that I dont think have not been mentioned):
- Baku Baku - it is an interesting puzzle game that is very fun - we did it for TR a couple months ago.
- Burning Rangers - Futuristic firefighting with random stages and awesome voice work.
- Bubble Symphony - Bubble Bobble, nothing else needs to be said.
- Clockwork Knight 1&2 - controls are alittle floaty, but they are great platformers. And have an awesome soundtrack that features an excellent Salsa tune.
- Die Hard Arcade - The first proper 3d beatemup
- D&D Collection - Only two player and Japanese only, but if you have not played them in the arcade (or MAME) worth the price of entry. They are fantastic Beatemup RPGs.
- Elevator Action Returns - 2 player run and gun explosive action
- Magic Knight Rayearth - Dont let the fact it is a CLAMP story scare you. This is an exquisite example of Action RPGs. Think of it like an anime based Zelda.
- Virus - Japanese only Horror first person action game. You just have to see it to understand.
