it sucks either way. I would have rather not shoveled for two and a half hrs today, even though I was at home, didn't have to leave, and have central heating.Luke wrote:Snow is awesome:
If you don't have to work, you are at home, don't have to leave, and have central heating. Well, I guess it's also awesome if you sell firewood, snow tires, and snow blowers.

Every time it snows, I am thankful that my cars are garaged. It's nice to not have to clean them off or have to shovel around them.
I never could understand people who have a garage but don't use it for their cars.
We got about 8 inches. Took me about 20 minutes with the snow blower.

While you got snow, I got rain, sleet, and puny snowflakes...8-bit Legend wrote:I live in the Richmond Virginia area and we got over a foot of snow here. Ofcourse I'm still young enough to thoroughly enjoy snow. Went to a friend's yesterday where we sledded down a giant hill with other guys from our school. This morning I helped his family dig themselves a path for themselves and their cars. Hope it snows again soon, sledding was intense

I could tolerate more clothes for a little bit. Like, right now it's night here and it's 27°C outside, which must be like 300 F.Octopod wrote:jfrost wrote:I wish I'd gotten hit, it's hot as fuck here. Then again I don't remember it ever not being hot as fuck here.
Hot climate = chicks with less clothes on.

I got a foot and a half. Haven't gone sledding or anything yet because I had to shovel and pull out carpet. Hopefully there it will still be in a good condition tomorrow.
Re: East coast blizzard, who got hit?
we got hit in philly pretty bad. I guess a foot or two?
The silver lining to all this was late last night before the plows were out and everyone was inside, i got to take my really bad dog, Samus, off the leash. She can't help herself, she has to chase and explore everything comes across... so Sam is on a leash pretty much all the time. However, last night she got to run/leap/plow through the snow as much as she wanted to. She loved it.
However, now i'm about to forage for energy drinks due to a deadline. Not fun.
