Not really, it's uncommon, but not rare by a long shot.

I've just honestly wanted the PS1 Flight-Stick for a long time and it's all for a good cause so why not splurge a little?

I tried playing Mario with it once. It gives the game a very different feeling. It's pretty satisfying getting a tetris by pulling down on the controller.
