Sega CD Box Art -- Which Region Reigns Supreme?
My latest box art feature may not offer a definitive answer, but hopefully at least there's some food for thought about the regional differences in general. Working Designs may have skewed things a bit this time, but in general I was surprised by how tight the race was between the three regions. You can find the latest here:

I actually like the U.S. box art for Sonic CD. It embodies the cartoony feel of the 16-bit sonic games.

Kyle Mclachlan looks awesome on that Dune cover.

Almost all of them I think the US covers look better the mega CD versions. Some of the Mega CD ones did look clearer though. Was that how the actual cover looked or are they just posted in a higher resolution?

I like the MegaCD Lunar Cover but the Sega CD Lunar 2 cover, the rest I mostly agree with.

Hahahaha is that US Terminator one for real? Such dodgy editing work on that!

pepharytheworm, I took the best resolution that I could find for all of the boxes. In general, I did have higher resolutions for the US artwork, though. Not that it helped! Mwa-ha-ha-ha-ha!
GagaMan, I wish I was joking about the Terminator art work. Believe it or not, I was actually struggling for a while to find the #10 piece of art that would be compared in this feature. As soon as I found the EU version of Terminator, knowing how different and atrocious the U.S. one was, I knew that my search was over, immediately!

I've been updating the Sega CD page, so you can now find each region's box art, title, and even the CD. Just click on the flags. Enjoy!

If you have any of the missing images, and would like to share them, that would be greatly appreciated.
