Merry Christmas! Free Tex Murphy games.

Post by J T »

If you like your private investigators hard boiled, then here's a special treat for you. You can get Tex Murphy: Mean Streets and Tex Murphy: Martian Memorandum absolutely free of charge as a registered user at GOG. They are giving them away free for the holidays as a gift to anyone that uses their service (or registers).

http://www.gog.com/en/gamecard/tex_murphy_1_2/

And, as always, you can get the classic adventure Beneath a Steel Sky free from them too.

Happy Holidays! :)

I didn't really mention them because their not very exciting. Their ok. They are free and don't take much harddrive space, so their at least worth the download.

Thanks a ton.

I spent hours playing Mean Streets on my IBM PS1 when I was a kid.

I've also looked for this game for years, so I can't thank you enough.

If you like Beneath a Steel Sky, you should check out Lure of the Temptress, which is also made by Revolution.

For those who don't know, Revolution developed the Broken Sword games.

Also, Beneath a Steel Sky and Lure of the Temptress are both available for free download from the Revolution website and also SCUMMVM's website (no registration required!)

http://www.scummvm.org/downloads/ (near the bottom, search for 'beneath a steel sky')

http://www.revolution.co.uk/_display.php?id=10 (lure of the temptress)

Flight of the Amazon Queen is also available from the SCUMMVM website.
