Fair enough, there were actually a few samples in there. The most identifiable one (to me) being the chirpy chorus noise at 7 seconds in.

Yeah, that seemed to be the clearest sound, but I couldn't pin down where it was from. Actually, the lower, buzzing sound that comes up a few times in the song are what reminded me of defender. However, looking at it now I'm not sure that sample is actually from that game. Oh well.
