I played Starcraft and Counter Strike a lot.

Starcraft, my account had around 1400 wins/losses (these include the normal maps and fastest- so avg 30mins a day probably) and probably played around 500 use map settings games (10min avg a game?). So 783 hours. Actually I think I played a bit more than that, probably 900 hours seem closer.

Counter Strike- Probably played around average out everyday 2 hours a day for 2 years and another year of 1 hour a day. So 1825 hours. That sounds right. Yeah I was pretty addicted to counter strike at that time.

Civilization II next I think. Probably rough estimate 300 hours.

Also played Morrowind probably 200 hours. Well I was stuck at 60%. I think I killed some important character or something.

MMORPGs - let's see combine this and that...2 hours.

Diablo II
World of Warcraft
Super Smash Bros. Melee

Level 88 Hardcore Barbarian was the best I've done. Never killed baal on HC though.
Looking back on WoW, MMO's are crap.
Great times with Smash Brothers.
I've got my crown and I've got my scepter.

A full time job is 40 hours per week. You would have to work 200 full time work weeks to equal 8000 hours. There are 52 weeks in a year, so you worked Phantasy Star Universe as a full time job for 3.85 years. Add on another 1.92 for Phantasy Star Online and that is 5.78 years you have been a fulltime employee of Phantasy Star. Wow! Do they have a good retirement plan?
I assumed no one else would crunch the numbers and checked them out before reading your post.

But yes, it seems if Izzy's numbers are true, he's spent at least 3 and a quarter "working" years of his life playing PSU. If he is 29yrs, starting work at 18yrs, he's spent 34% of his working life playing PSU, with the caveat he doesn't play games when he is off work. If he is younger, getting that amount of hours in playing time is Guinness worthy.

I started working when I was 18 and I am 27 now. I don't think its Guinness worthy since there are many people out there who play the fuck outta games like I do. I bet there are a lot of WoW players who have surpassed 8,000 hours. We just don't hear from them that often since they are too busy playing games constantly.

I haven't been that into games recently but I'd say that I've spent quite a lot of hours playing the Guitar Hero/Rock Band games. It's hard for me to get to attached to games now.
