Ok, I think the consensus is to get it. I admit it is very cool, but I'm not just wanting a space filler. I can justify the space in my new game room (my new house will be finished this month!!!) if I can turn this into a mame cab, or something. My concern, just looking at the picture, is the small controller panel. Would I end up drilling more holes to have more buttons? Or would this be better used to just play the older one button or less games (pac-man, wizard of wor...).
I have never done a project like this, and I know that several of you all have. I'm looking for some direction. What would you do with this if you had this?

Do not make a monstrosity CP with trakballs, spinners or more than 2 sticks. With MAME, just stick to 2 player, 6 on the face plus the two start buttons <- classic! I'm not a MAME-in-a-cab guy, but more cabs owners the better.
And who cares if you don't have room, GET IT ANYWAY! The link is down, so I guess it's a regular WoW cab? Cabs make a great hobby.

Yeah, a simple control panel is better than a bunch of buttons everywhere. I did a 6 button sf style, 2 start/coin buttons with 2 joysticks with three administration buttons(enter, esc, pause).
Systems: Sega Dreamcast(x2), Sega Genesis(x2), Sega Saturn, Sega CD, Genmobile (portable Genesis), FC Twin, PSX, PS2(x2), GBA, SP, Xbox 360, N64, Showcase Arcade

I'd much prefer a monstrosity with rotating controls for whatever game I'd like to play. In fact, unless I ever get the motivation to do such a thing, I won't be getting a cab. I'm happy in front of my monitor (which is in front of my sofa).
