It would probably be Super Mario World, but that was more mid 90's. I was always a generation behind, and I threw out my NES before I knew what I was doing.

Sadly, most of the games I had since I was a kid I had to sell back in 2004. The oldest one I still own is my copy of Contra, which I got via a trade with a guy I knew in late '89.

Super Mario Bros.

It came with the NES when I first bought it in 1986. I was about 8 or 9 years old and I had to mow lawns for an entire summer to afford it. I played the hell out of that game.

I think the second game I bought for the NES was Pro Wrestling, which I also still have. I sold all of my old Colecovision games and my Colecovision to be able to afford it. I got swindled and always regretted it. I stopped selling games after that experience unless I really don't like them or they are a double.

I think the game I've had the longest is the original Super Mario World that came with our SNES and I still play it from time to time. The battery is still working good. We got the SNES for Christmas the first year they came out, so 1991 I think.

Super Mario Bros. 3 (NES) - Shortly after getting back into video games a few years ago, I found this old gem in one of my old dresser drawers at my parents house. It's my original copy from 1990

Due to moving a lot when I was little, the oldest copy of any game I have is Ghouls N` Ghosts. It was the only game of my master system/genesis/nes/and super nes collection that I managed to find after we moved to BC which makes me sad. I think the first two games I had ever been given were Super Mario Bros/Duck Hunt and another sidescrolling contra ish shooter that I have never been able to find a title for. The very first game I ever purchased on my own was Final Fantasy VIII, which I still have and love.
