Spoiler alert NSMBW Ending

Post by GamerMON »

Just to begin once you beat the game world 9 opens up. If you collected all the star coins in world one you can play level 9-1 and so on. So I collected all the star coins IN THE GAME (including world 9). What do you get some music and a window saying you have done everything in NSMBW pops up. Nothing else. I thought something like in Super Mario bros world would happen (the turtles having mario's face after beating star road). I really like NSMBW till this happened.

I thought it was kinda funny when that windowed popped up, I wasn't at all disappointed. I find fault in your logic. You said you really liked the game until that happened. So, what? Now you don't like the game? Because of THAT the fun you had playing the game, collecting all those coins, and the thrill of completion is all gone?

And besides, you don't just get a little message. You get 5 stars on your file. Now THAT'S something to be proud of!

Sounds like a huge number of older games where when you beat it you get "The End", "Congratulations" or something like that.

I am not complaining but this seems to be just another game Nintendo is relying on to score another huge sum of money.
Its not a bad game, but I thought it was too short for a 2D platformer in 2009. I mean really, how much did the development of this game cost compared to something like Super Mario Galaxy or Metroid?

I don't think they put a lot of thought into it. Any way its a good comeback for 2D, maybe we will see good Sonic games finally.

I enjoy the game play yes. I was just hoping for something that made it all worth while. If I 100% some random game I never heard of before, I would not be so let down I that I wasn't "rewarded". But each mario sets a standard that future mario games must beat. All aspects (expect 100%), did this.

So I just noticed, after getting 100% all the mushroom houses come back and they don't go away after you use them. Now I wonder if anything else has changed.
