Nice. I almost bought a new copy of Spacehulk but like I said, I have noone to play with and I thought $100 was a lot for something it would be hard for me to get use out of. I just fairly recently also sold a few late 70's-80's era Avalon Hill games. I have three games my wife will play with me. Monsters Mence America, Fury of Dracula and Talisman. Well, I also have some of the Twilight Creations Zombies! stuff she likes but that gets boring real fast.
Which Avalon Hill ones? I am looking at expanding my bookcase game collection if you have any suggestions?
I already have Dune, Feudal, Baker St, Panzer Leader, Pattons Best, and about half a dozen versions of ASL.
Several of my friends get together on Wednesday nights to play middle of the road and Euro games, but I figure some games are better than none. I am going to get them to play Titan eventually...
Dune is my favorite board game of all time. I need to buy another copy or build one. I am buying the remake (its in the Twilight Imperium world I believe) regardless.
Starship Troopers was ok, but I think Mongoose did better with the material in their minis game. Atleast when played on a hex grid. I am painting a plasma bug from that tonight.
Blackbeard keeps showing up on my searches, I guess I should give it a go. Thanks.
I have realized in recent years that my love of painting the figures has to almost even with my love of playing the games. If work didnt block BSW and Vassal I would be playing certain games more often.
I like painting minis but not armies. I bought a Warhammer Fantasy starter set with the Goblin and Dwarf armies two or three years ago and all I have painted it like two groups of goblins. I should sell that set too...
