Christmas trees, holiday pics, etc...

4 cats, 2 dogs, a chinchilla, a budgie, and a pleco

I am a vet tech and my wife and I used to live above a vet hospital where all the stray animals somehow ended up. Life had the last laugh, however, as we now live in a small 1 bedroom apartment.
I think we have the same TV bench, Vash. Ikea?
Indeed!!

Hoppy is always popular. He is very gentle and quiet.
Winry is nuts, always wants to play, never aggressive, just nonstop. She's a Daddy's girl though and just as sweet as Hoppy. I am just glad they all get along. Cats and dogs sleeping together and on top of each other and playing together, especially this many in such a small place, is something to be thankful for.

Here's my tree

That's 100% real tree, 7.5 feet tall. And about 96% of the ornaments on it are from like the 1940's.

Very cool. I have 3 ornaments from the WWII era and they're interesting because there are no metal caps or rings on them. Instead they use thick paper since metal was being conserved for the war effort.

As I showed a few months back that my apartment is pretty small in Japan, I really don't have much room for a proper tree. So I compromised and picked up a miniature tree for 99 yen with lights and decorations for an additional 400 yen or so. Seems to work for me. I'm feelin' the Christmas spirit. :D

I wonder what's under the tree?

Here's a silly video I made of my wife and I decorating a tree in our apartment in IA from 2003.
