I hate receiving gifts, but my family says I have to be normal one day out of the year. I ascribe to my grandmothers point of view, gifts should be things you would not buy yourself. So this year, boardgames mostly. Ones we play weekly at a friends house but it would be nice to have backups for future gaming nights. I have a feeling my oldest brother is getting me a Fate of Atlantis poster though - his wife emailed me when I was ogling one and shot it off as a perchance.

If he does, it would rock - It is one of my top three favorite games of all time.

I used to like boardgames a lot. I guess I still do really but I have no one to play with. Of course I like different types of boardgames than you it seems. I have aseveral up on ebay now, lol. Stuff like Arkham Horror, Doom the boardgame, War of the Rings etc..I need to find a gaming group as i missing play pnp rpgs too.

Dont let those choices fool you Octopod, I am a grognard. I started with Panzer Leader and Pattons Best but stick to minis nowadays. My copy of Spacehulk 3.0 is down to painting three steelers and the cup.
