What Operating Systems do you use daily

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Using virtualized Win32 to develop (can't get rid of VisualStudio)
Using AmigaOS because it just rocks when dealing with retro games :)
So what kind of amiga are you using ?
Basically, I'm using a Amiga 600 with 4Gb FlashCard (HDD) + 2Mb Fast RAM + 2Mb Chip RAM + 4Gb FlashCard PCMCIA (for Mac/Amiga file transfert) + registered WHDLoad. This machine is just awesome ; I have something like 100+ games where 20 really worth it.
I love my Amiga 600 with the hard drive. Amiga OS is amazing. One of the first, If not the first OS to have pre-emptive multi tasking. You can do so much with that tiny motorola 68000 cpu.

Actually, I found myself faster using directly AmigaDOS. I just go to the right folder and type the right WHDLoad command to launch the game.

Amiga 600 is using a 7Mh Motorala 68000 CPU. Guess what? Yes, it can do Wireless Internet! (http://amigakit.leamancomputing.com/cat ... cts_id=121)

Jesus, I think I'm going to have to dust my Amiga off and try and find a dedicated monitor for it.

If you got the wireless adaptor would you be able to transfer ADFs to it and write them to floppies similar to the way the old Nullmodem method worked? I don't have a parallel port on my PC so I can't transfer games any more, but I would love to know of alternatives.

Actually, I advise you the EasyADF Transfert kit (on Amigakit.com) instead. It's cheap (40$). And really fast!

OS X is my main OS. Work decided we need to diversify our certifications so I took on the task of getting OS X certifications, I like it a lot.

I have ubuntu on a netbook and XP on an older lappie but they mostly get used by my wife so I'm just mostly an OS X kinda guy.

I'd use final cut on my mac, but for rendering it just doesn't do it fast enough, I can get the same job done in a quarter of the time on my gaming rig. It chews through 1080p rendering. Takes roughly 0.75x realtime to render fairly complex videos.
Have you ever used sony vegas?

This I find very strange, my PowerBook G3 (Lombard 333mhz, 128mb ram, 8mb ATI Rage LT Pro, OS 9.2.2) runs amazingly well. So does OS X Panther, I even got Tiger running on it OKAY by using a friends ram module getting it up to 512mb.

64 Windows 7. Haven't had a problem yet (and I had a lot with Vista).

The idea that it's Sony software puts me right off.
