Best Dreamcast Arcade Stick?

Post by Exodus311 »

Hello,

I'm looking for the best Dreamcast Arcade stick available, official or custom. I'm looking to buy the best possible stick that I can, and fortunately money is not an issue. Any recommendations for a great stick? Thanks!

The "official" Agtec stick is the best IMO.
I've owned one for a few years now.

Here's an example

That seems to be the consensus. It's definitely the better of the two that I own.

Very good, that's what I have been looking to get. I have seen people mod these with custom sticks/buttons. Is this something that is recommended or out of the box is this joystick pretty good? Thanks again!

The ole Green Goblin! I haven't seen a working one of those in a spell.

Most MvC2 players use DC->PS2 convertors with MAS or HRAP sticks.

I don't know about that Agetec stick. It looks terrible. I've bought sticks that look like that for other systems and they were all terrible. Just doesn't look like something reliable for high level play. That stupid big ball on top of a short stick, and the curved rather than straight button layout. I wouldn't use it. The afore-mentioned MAS stick looks better as does those X-Arcade sticks.

Don't judge a book by its cover.
I've used the stick for 5 years. I have not complaints.
The only way you would get anything significantly better is if you build your own with all authentic arcade controls.

I want an agetec ...and it aint ugly to me....i actually like it...plain and simple to the dam point. If you look online you will find the most reviews on the agetec joystick are very very positive. as for that hori stick...its rockin body still makes me hot.
